trying to help those with reading difficulties and reluctant readers to find fun in reading.
The author of this website is attempting to make it "responsive" - more accessible on mobile devices.
Also he intends to add details and feedback from those who have used the "Quick Reads" books which have been distributed.
He will get there eventually - at least so he says!

On the reading front he adds: "I've never read for pleasure - that's part of the reason why I set up this charity to try to help those who suffer frustrations when trying to communicate - those with dyslexia, autism and other challenges. Large books and most mainstream books frighten me but not, so much, these ones."
Quick Reads books have give or take 100 pages and larger than average print. And he adds: "For me, reading these is more comfortable and less painful."
"Quick Reads" is a name given by someone who reads, who can read - someone who does not struggle with reading.
If you struggle with reading, try it. You might want to ask someone to help. These might work for you. They might help. You might find reading is fun. Yes, get some pleasure from reading!
If you move on from these and read (or write) some other stuff that's OK.
Let your imagination, understanding and knowledge fly. Set it free. Don't let your reading speeds or reading skills hold you back. Try to find a way……
With the help of NIACE (The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) we have taken delivery of a small number of Quick Reads books and are in the process of passing them round to a number of organisations we support.
